MWS AGM
Friday, 18:30 to 19:30 May 07th 2021

Dear Society Members,


We hope you are keeping well with your upcoming exams, It has been a tough year for everyone.

Our AGM will be taking place next Friday from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, online through Zoom. A meeting link will be sent out to all society members 15 minutes before the meeting starts from  minceirswhiden@socs.nuigalway.ie.

We ask that you keep your camera on for the duration of the meeting and only unmute yourself when it is your turn to speak and please do not talk over anyone when they are speaking. Please see attached on ' Posting Etiquette', the same rules apply for our meetings.

The agenda for the meeting will be sent out closer to the time and all committee positions will be contested. That includes Auditor, Vice-Auditor, Treasurer, Secretary, Public Relations Officer, and Ordinary Committee Members. Term of Office of the Committee, The Committee shall hold office for a specific one-year term to decided and published by USCG annually (Currently July 1 st – June 30 th of the following year). This means that all handover documents must be completed before the 1st of July 2021. As per our constitution, "Full Members of at least 30 days standing of the Society shall be entitled to vote". This also means that our Community Liaison Officers cannot vote at any of our meetings.

If you would like to discuss running for any committee position, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
