"Kill Your Drammies" Awards
Sunday, 19:00 to 23:00 May 12th 2024
Calling all Dramsoc members! Join us in The Cube (opposite the Bailey Allen Hall in Aras na Mac Leinn) on the evening of Sunday, 12 May for Dramsoc's annual Drammies awards ceremony: "Kill Your Drammies" edition! All welcome!
There will be a wine reception, dance numbers from three of our productions ("AXEMAN", "THE LIGHTNING THIEF", "THE BOOK OF NEIL MCCARTHY"), and original live music performed by JOHANNA LANE (musician/singer/actor) and JACK LINDEY (musician/singer/composer), followed by a buzzing afterparty in The Skeff (27 Eyre Square, Galway). A murder-mystery-themed event. No dress code, but don't be normal.
Meet the performers!
JOHANNA LANE has been writing and performing original music since she was sixteen. Her music is a mix of soft rock and indie folk. In the last year she has played in many new music venues as a support artist and is excited to start recording music this summer.
JACK LINDEY is a Galway-based musician, composer, and sound designer. He has released four EPs to date under the name Glassbird.
