The photo was taken on campus, in front of 'Galway Yellow', one of the most recognizable features of the University. It was taken on March 8th, International Women's Day, when between 400 and 500 students and Galway locals went on Strike 4 Repeal to call for a referendum in favour of repealing the 8th amendment to the constitution.
