With over 100 Societies in University of Galway you are sure to find one for you.
The NUI Galway Students' Union Disability Rights Officer, Trish O'Mahony will be running a weekly drop-in clinic via Zoom for students with disabilities. The purpose of the clinic is to give students an opportunity to voice any issues or concerns they have within the university in relation to disability issues. Trish will also be able to offer students advice on the best routes to take to resolve their particular issues. This is an opportunity for students to have a voice on disability issues within NUI Galway. The clinic will be ran by our auditor Saoirse Connolly but students will be able to go individually into a breakout room with Trish if they need to discuss any sensitive issue. Please note, mental health comes under the disability remit and so anyone experiencing mental health difficulties is welcome at this clinic. We know that with COVID students are having a difficult time and we encourage you to reach out.
This Clinic will be ran weekly for the duration of semester one and will re-commence in semester two.
Every Friday 3.00 - 4.30 pm via Zoom.
