Come join us on Tuesday, the 19th of March, at 6PM in Room AC204 for a lecture by Dr. Marla Toyne. Dr. Toyne joins us all the way from Florida to give us a fascinating talk on Times of Great Sacrifice: Life and Death in the Ancient Andes of Peru. She will be discussing human lives and bodies being transformed into sacred offering during sacrificial rites, describing the different ways human bodies have been manipulated in Ancient Andean rites of human sacrifice as specific death rituals outside of traditional or normative mortuary practices. We are super lucky to have her in to speak and I'm sure this will be an endlessly fascinating lecture you won't want to miss so we'll see you all there!
