Join us for the next instalment of our speaker series with Professor Emma Teeling! Emma Teeling is the Head of Zoology at University College Dublin. She is a zoologist and geneticist whose research specialises in the genomics of bats. Her research aims to use model species to understand the structure and function of the human genome so to inform medicine and molecular biology, and to understand and therefore conserve natural populations and environments to promote ecosystem well-being and functioning. Professor Teeling has won multiple awards for her research and was listed in the top 100 female Irish scientists in 2014.
