HystERia Teatar is a Galway-based, globally-minded company of women using theatre to highlight universal experiences through their unique stories. Made up of current and past MA students from NUI Galway; they explore what it means to be a woman – the good and the bad. Their debut performance Not Like Other Girls! is an invitation to join them in the creation of a one-of-a-kind narrative of womanhood, in all its multitudes. It is a highly experimental, semi-autobiographical devised piece that has developed from their earliest memories to their latest heartbreaks. The show will be presented as one of the festival’s ‘Made in Galway’ works in progress on May 4th in the O'Donoghue Theatre, NUIG.
