Galway University Musical Society presents All Shook Up, featuring the music of the King… Elvis Presley. After last year's chilling production of Carrie, GUMS returns to the stage with a show you Can’t Help Falling in Love with. Based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, All Shook Up follows the antics which ensue when Roustabout Chad comes to a small Midwestern town which has a ban on music,dancing, and other “indecent” acts. Chad inspires the town to put on their blue suede shoes and rebel against the town’s rules. In a short time, lovers meet, dance and more. Featuring songs such as ‘Hound dog ', ‘Heartbreak Hotel’, and ‘Jailhouse Rock’ All Shook Up will have audience members jumping out of their seats. The show is taking place in The Black Box Theatre from the 31st of January until the 4th of February, tickets can be bought online on the Town Hall Theatre Website. tht.ie
