Founded in 1968, the NUIG Archaeology Society has enhanced the university experience of students with a passion for both the prehistoric and the more recent past. With a programme that features guest lectures, workshops, demonstrations, film nights, and both national and international trips, the society has something for everyone with an interest in the past, and in the discipline of archaeology.
