Comedy Soc

Comedy Soc is for everyone who loves to laugh and to make people laugh. We have something for everyone, so come along to one of many events and have some fun!

You don't have to be funny to join Comedy Soc, just be able to laugh! We are a society for those who love comedy in all its weird and wonderful forms; from improv to stand-up, from sketch troupes to panel shows. Our aim is to get students involved in their local comedy scene here in Galway, which is one of the most vibrant in the country, as well as creating one right on the NUIG campus, through regular events. We are also tied with the Roisin Dubh Comedy Clubh and the annual Vodafone Comedy Carnival, so our members get plenty of perks!

Meetings

We don't hold regular meetings as we don't believe them to be much craic. We rather hold gigs right on campus featuring the best emerging and established comedians, with pizza, as that's more fun. Keep up to date on our many events by becoming a member or following us on the Facebook and Twitbox.
