CÉIM is an academic peer support scheme for 1st year students studying Engineering, Law, Geography, Political Science & Sociology, Psychology and Science. CÉIM sessions are a great place to help you settle in quickly to University of Galway, meet others in your year, get up to speed on coursework and to ask questions.

Students are assigned to small groups and are offered weekly study sessions facilitated by trained 2nd and 3rd year student leaders. Research shows that students who attend CÉIM regularly on average achieve significantly higher grades than students who do not attend. CÉIM is run by University of Galway Students' Union in collaboration with various disciplines.
