Health Care Society

Our mission is to represent the students of healthcare related courses at a local and national level and to serve their best interests in relation to social, academic and welfare issues.

As one united body of students, pursuing degrees in healthcare, we believe that we can do much more to enhance our University experience and ensure a better transition from University life to the world of work!

Overall our main goals as a society are:

1. To unify all students in Health Sciences (Medicine, Midwifery, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Psych Nursing, Speech and Language Therapy etc.) and all those interested in pursuing a healthcare related profession.

2. To offer academic and social support for students at all levels by providing: avenues for the development of new skills, resources, course-related information and peer guidance.

3. To provide exciting and stimulating social events and extracurricular activities

It doesn’t matter which discipline you belong to or where you’ve come from, if you have a passion for health, a drive for helping people or in the mood for good craic, this is the society for you!
