Our aim is to bring together all students to discuss socialist theory, politics, and modern society. We are a society that stands in firm opposition to the modern capitalist system, and will organize against a system we see as unjust and morally reprehensible. Our doors are open to all, and we welcome people of all tendencies, parties and creeds to come to meetings.
We aim to have meetings every 2 weeks at least where we will discuss a different political topic from a socialist perspective. All attendees will be encouraged to give their opinion and ask questions, no matter how little they know on the topic. No question is a stupid question!! At meetings we will also take ideas from everyone about activities we can do on campus. At the end of each meeting we will all decide together what the topic of the next meeting will be, depending on the interest of members. We will also plan and organize educational and activist events, such as movie screenings, protests and guest speakers.
