GEOS - The Galway Earth and Ocean Society is primarily interested in promoting and supporting the Earth & Ocean sciences.
These include Geology, Oceanography, Sedimentology, Palaentology, Climatology, Petrology any even more throughout the University and Galway at large.
We also provide great help to any students of these fields be it through organising teaching Seminars, of home- or abroad-based lecturers, postgraduate forums or fun trips away to places of scientific interest such as National History Museums in Ireland or abroad.
We always welcome new members and fresh ideas so come join us!
