Interested in our planet? You've come to the right place!

The G-EOS society is aimed to help students within Earth and Ocean Science, and those who are interested in Geoscience, to interacted with one another and to learn more about the world around us! The society hosts both academic talks and workshops, held by our own university's lecturers, as well as guest speakers from around Ireland and indeed around the globe. We also host several social events and outings throughout the year, such as pub quizzes and movie nights!

We also organize our trip to the IGRM (Irish Geological Research Meeting) every year, which is always sure to be great fun, as well as boat trips around Ireland!

If you are interested in Earth and Ocean Science, this society gives you the chance to talk to students in other years and get to know the students in your own year. It is an excellent way to communicate with others who are interested in Geoscience, and a great way to deepen your appreciation of the planet around us!

Meetings
