Poker Soc has been set up for students to play poker tournaments in an safe, fun and informal manner. It is one of the fastest growing societies in NUIG and is a great outlet for students to practice their psychology skills!

Last year the society organised a large number of successful tournaments where turnouts were up to 60 players per tournament. A percentage of each weeks prizepool was put aside to be added to a final game where the top placed players of the year gained free entry to the tournament.
Beginners are welcome, so please become a member and we will send you a text or email to tell you about all the upcoming events. Poker Soc is also willing to work with other societies in organising poker nights for them.
