Take a few minutes to complete the Success Quiz, get your scores, and receive personalised feedback and advice to give you the best start possible for the year ahead. 


Based on your responses, the Quiz will give you helpful tips and links to useful resources. You can let us know what services, supports and facilities you're most interested in and be added to relevant mailing lists - so you'll always be in the know. Scroll down to get started!

Step 2:    Click 'Submit survey'
Step 3:    Check out your results - you will receive your University Lifestyle Scores, useful tips, and information about relevant supports and services

Complete the Quiz by Friday October 20th and be in the draw for some great prizes (more to follow - watch this space!)

How do I get my results?


1. You will get your results immediately

2. Your results will also be e-mailed to you and, if you have entered your correct student ID (your CAO ID will become your student ID, this is an 8 digit number),

3. Your results will be posted to your personal yourspace.universityofgalway.ie account (see below for more information about YourSpace)


What is YourSpace? 


YourSpace is your personal gateway to all your extracurricular events and activities at University of Galway. Log in with your usual campus account ID and password. Through YourSpace, you can:


    Join societies, sports clubs and other extracurricular groups and events


    Find out who your Students' Union (SU) class representatives are

    See what peer mentors are available to you (e.g. CÉIM leaders, ATS mentor)

    Avail of SU services such as lockers, secondhand books and the SU loyalty card

    Work towards University Awards such as the ALIVE Certificate for Volunteering and the Employability Award

    Add events to your personal calendar - the events of groups you join will be automatically added

    Update your contact details or unsubscribe from any lists


Data protection notice


The personal information (data) that you enter, such as your name, ID number, or email address, is gathered only for the purposes of sending your Success Quiz results to you, adding you to mailing lists (with your consent) and/or selecting prize-winners. This information is held by the University's Student Success Manager (Jane Ennis) and the Societies Officer (Ríona Hughes), is stored securely online, and will not shared with any third party. It may be retained for up to 18 months after completion of the Quiz. After this time period has elapsed, your personal data will be deleted. 

Other information (data) that you enter may be shared with Student Services for statistical analysis and/or reporting purposes. This data is completely anonymised before sharing and your answers will not be linked or associated with you in any way.
